Preface - Last time we checked in with the Party in Dublin Brovenloft, Lucky was taken prisoner by coomers in the Cave of Soyjack. he was able to barely escape his capture after 3 days, but it cost him his weapons and treasure. He never communicated with the party of his liberation and lost all his money and hirelings due to being broke at the end of the month.
The party started before his arrival to the session, so the party decided they are still going to try to search for him in the dungeon, since he never communicated with him. The other party members are now level 3 and spent the remainder of their treasure buying Irish Candy Field Plate for the dungeon. They both are beginning to long for a return home, and plan to try the portal found on level 1 of the dungeon to see if it will return them home.

Player Characters:
Lucky Bowmen III - Level 2 Halfling Thief, Neutral
Jean Var Rouge - Level 3 Human Paladin, Lawful Good
Antione La Flair - Level 3 Human Cleric, Lawful Good
12/2/23 The party heads to the circular room with a portcullis they tried opening in Session 7. After 3 attempts, Jean is able to bend the bars open to finally fit through the metal gate. They walk through the archway on the other side into a square 70' by 70' room. In the center of the large room is a small fine wooden locked chest. They shake it and hear the jingle of coins and something else heavy inside. They give the chest to 1 of their 12 hirelings to carry.
There is another exit to the room on the Northern wall so the keep pushing forward. It leads to a hallway that splits from North to West and the party keeps moving North. After a few turns it leads to an archway leading into a 30' by 30' square room. upon the inspection of the room, The Eastern wall has the entire layout of the first level of the dungeon sprawled on the wall. The party takes a break from searching to copy the map onto a piece of parchment.
By the time they finish copying the map, the party finds they are no longer alone. No when is surprised when 2 men in armor calling themselves the Knights of Soy. They are guarded by 4 soyjacks armed with spears and shields wearing chainmail. The 2 men begin to bark at the party for taking their treasure from the other room, who are they to steal from Sir Klein and Sir Stuckmann and how their master the Necrojack will be pleased with them for killing the party.
Initiative is rolled and the enemies have it. Seeing they are hopelessly out numbered, the 2 evil fighters retreat deeper into the dungeon whilst the soyjacks set spears to hold off the party. The party charges and one of their hirelings is impaled by a soyjacks spear, but another armed soyjack is killed by Jean, while Antione casts hold person on 1 of the soyjacks. 2nd round of initiative and the party goes 1st. Everybody attacks again and this time Antione casts command on one of the soyjacks using the word "Sit". A soyjack sits down on the ground giving the party +4 to hit the target. The only free soyjacks swings in retaliation, but misses hit attack.

The party wins Initiative again and they kill they soyjack on the ground and the one defending itself. They then tie up the one who is still held and take it as a prisoner. They search the soyjacks and only find Soylent on them, 4 bottles. Antione heals the party back up and they head back to the village with their score from the dungeon and possibly communicate with this soyjack.
Once outside the dungeon, Antione heals the injured members of the party. They then ungag the soyjack and try to have a conversation with it. When spoken to the creature seems mostly confused. When they flash a flask of Soylent the creature lights up and speaks," oh please can I have some Soylent. I'm so thirsty." The party carefully pours some down its gapping maw. It asks for more but the party wants answers. The creature then becomes confused and unresponsive again.

The party heads back to Dublin. when they get to the irradiated wonderland they run into their comrade Lucky Bowmen III. He tells them about the unspeakable horrors he witnessed during his 3 days of captivity before he was was able to free himself. he was not able to recover his weapons and treasure from them but knows that they have more treasure in their lair behind a secret door in the dungeon. If they help Lucky recover his lost items he says they can keep 75% of the treasure from the lair. The party accepts and then asks if he is able to to unlock the chest they recovered from the dungeon. Lucky happily agrees and picks the lock after a few attempts. Inside the chest is 750 Electrum pieces and a solid wrought gold Funko Pop of Kylo Ren. The soyjack sees the strange idol and reacts with glee. Lucky asks if they recovered anything else and they reveal that they found 4 flasks of Soylent. Lucky says they could sell it to Bong Weasley, The Court Wizard of The Irish Candyman himself! He is currently at the Irish Candy Factory on the other side of Dublin. The party decides to rest for the night then go across the unsafe areas of Dublin to visit Bong Weasley.
12/3/23 The party starts the day by purchasing a short sword and dagger for Lucky. Afterwards they head into downtown Dublin to get to The Irish Candy Factory. At about midday the part gets an encounter. I have them roll surprise and they win with 5 segments of surprise. The party sneaks up on a pack of 4 mutated wolves. The party thinks about evading but the surprise bonus is too good to waste. The party charges the wolves, while Lucky positions for a back stab. They manage to get a kill on their 1st segment of surprise a good start.

2nd segment of surprise, Lucky misses his back stab attempt with his short sword. The party lays a lot of big hits and is able to kill another wolf. #rd segment and again Lucky misses his backstab. The party is able to wipe out the rest of the wolf pack this round. They don't spend much time examining the bodies for fear of this mysterious radiation they have heard about. They continue North towards the factory.
After a couple of hours they make it to the factory. It is guarded by 4 fully armored super mutants with two handed swords. They ask what the adventures are doing here. They are not on the list. Lucky says he has had correspondence with Mr. Bong Weasley. They have the stuff he was interested in. 1 super mutant goes inside and after 20 minutes he returns but will only allow 4 to enter unarmed. The main PCs will go with the captive soyjack. They are brought to a waiting room with a very attractive Irish secretary. Eventually they are brought into Mr. Weasley's office.
Mr. Weasley is toking some smoking herbs from a large water pipe. He takes a large rip and his eyes begin to turn red. He puts the water pipe into a small drawer on his desk that makes no sense on how it can fit in there. He has 2 Robochauns cleaning his office at high speeds. Mr. Weasley spots lucky and deduces this is who he has had correspondence with since he is the only halfling. He asks them if they want a hit as he sparks up a fatty, the heroes decline, they all graduated their local D.A.R.E. programs. Mr. Weasley then asks if they where able to secure any Soylent and what is the deal with the captive thing behind them. They say they have 4 flasks of Soylent and allow him to see one. Jean uses detect evil on Bong Weasley and he passes the test. They then explain how they captured a soyjack from the dungeon and think they are linked somehow with the Soylent. They think they might be under some kind of curse and wonder if they can be saved by magical means.
Bong Weasley tokes the fatty in contemplation. He will have to spend time researching a solution on the party's questions. He offers the party 50 gold per Soylent flask and 100 gold for the test subject. If he finds the Soylent valuable he will give them more gold later for them. He also expresses an interest in the formula of the Soylent, and would pay handsomely for it. The party expresses that they are thinking about returning to their original home and if they could not be found in the future, to give the proceeds to an Irish orphanage of his choice. The party then heads back to the safe part of Dublin with no encounters, and rests for the night.

12/4/23 The party heads to the secret entrance to level 2 of The Cave of Soyjack. Its time to get revenge on the coomers for Lucky. They head in and travel at 5x speed to the room with the spirals carved into the walls. They wonder around the dungeon looking for the secret door backtracking pretty far and even go down a wrong turn to a long hallway with a dead end. Eventually Antione inspects the mad an deduces an obvious location of the secret room based of where Lucky was taken captive. They go the the hallway in question and it begins to ring a bell for Lucky. He feels along the walls till he comes to a very sticky stone. He pushes his hand against it and the wall opens into the chamber. It is a 70' by 50' rectangular room with a large cage, a large wooden chest and the bright square device that the coomers spend all day observing, whilst..... cooming. Surprise is rolled and the party wins 1 segment of surprise.
The 3 coomers are still here. Most of the party charges the foul beasts whilst Lucky moves to position for a back stab on the coomer at the "coomputer". The charge is largely successful and one of the coomers is killed. only 2 left. First round of initiative and the coomers win it. Unfortunately for the. they miss both their attacks. Lucky misses his backstab but the rest of the party is able to take down the other coomer. 1 to go! Party wins initiative and its Lucky's time to shine. He lands his back stab with his dagger and is able to slay the monster. After the blow is delt he wipes the blood from his blade across the coomers face, disrespecting his fallen enemy for what they put him through, 3 days of hell. Lucky takes some time to open the chest in the room. He is able to retrieve his stuff but their is much more to be had. A mysterious potion, a glowing longsword, 4 gems, and much more coin. Lucky is then reminded by Jean he promised them 75% of any other treasure found to Jean and Antione. What a bad decision for a thief to make. The party gather up the treasure and then Lucky has a mad idea. Maybe the coomputer has the formula for the Soylent inside if. He touches the very sticky keyboard and moving pictures flash before his eyes of unspeakable things of extremally demonic and deviant sexual acts. Sounds of moaning permeate from the device and echo thorough out the dungeon. Jean knows heresy when he sees it and bravely smashes the coomputer saving the should of the party, but Lucky will never be able to unsee what he has saw. The party then heads to level 1 back to the room with the mysterious magic portal at 5x speed.

The party wants to see what is on the other side of the portal. Lucky, feeling very brave, decides he is willing to be the one to check out the other side of the portal. Maybe he will find some treasure to keep for himself. They tie him up with the green Irish rope and lower him down the chute to the magic portal carefully. He goes through the portal and comes out into a small cave cut into a mountain with black rock walls. There is a unknown symbol on the wall and the rope around his waist is pultruding from it. This makes the stone around it move with a ripple like when a stone is thrown into the water. It is very warm and humid here. Lucky walks as far as he can on the rope and looks out from the cave. There is a cliff edge with a small path a group could go down single file. There is a village at the base of the mountains that seems to be carved into a cliffs edge. There is a very large city far to the South surrounded by jungle and further out what looks like a bright blue ocean with a white sandy beach. With no treasure to be seen Lucky fallows the rope back through the portal to return to the party.
I made Lucky roll 1d20 for both times he entered the portal. The power of hoping through planes of existence aged him, just as the ghost train aged his allies, a total of 21 years. Lucky tells the party what he saw and how he has aged. The party brings him to level 2 of the dungeon to drink the legendary Gamer Girl Bathwater, deaging him by 15 years. The party refills on Gamer Girl Bathwater and contemplates leaving Dublin for good. Lucky persuades them to wait a little longer to see if they hear back from Bong Weasley, and the party agrees to give it some time. They leave the dungeon and head back into town.
